Sophos PureMessage for UNIX
Sophos PureMessage for UNIX provides powerful protection for email gateways against security threats such as viruses and spam. It interoperates with existing infrastructures to enable integrated mail management across multiple platforms and operating systems. It includes powerful content searching and can easily conform to the complex security requirements and varied compliance requirements of enterprises by the configuration of all manner of policies. The easy-to-use management interface lightens the administrator workload on multiple-server environments. An interface that allows end users to configure detailed rules is also provided. Support for a variety of UNIX and Linux platforms is built in.
PureMessage for UNIX 5.1 now includes reputation filtering that boosts safe mail throughput up to 50%. Known spammers on the Sophos IP blocking list managed by SophosLabs are blocked at the MTA or policy level. Existing users of PureMessage for UNIX can upgrade immediately.

Sophos PureMessage for Windows/Exchange
Sophos PureMessage for Windows/Exchange protects mail gateways from viruses and spam. It uses threat elimination technology to search all incoming/outgoing email, including in-house e-mail, as well as the Exchange Server Store, and to block unknown or new types of email based security threats.
